Other model segments also saw new launches and innovations seen for the first time at Texprocess. The PS-800 is the latest pattern seamer from Juki with two sewing areas possible and a range of functionality only seen from Juki. These models allow for automation of a huge amount of different processes as well as design stitching on garments like winter and down jackets.

The industry favorite AMS-251 saw its upgrade to a two-needle variant launched at this year’s show – the AMS-252. This 2-needle CNC turn head machine allow for perfect seam placement and incredibly straight stitching. In May we showcased both the AMS-251 and AM-252 equipped with and industry first camera system for sewing on perforated leather. The camera system tracks the position of perforated holes in relation to seam placement and will make live correction to ensure allowances are always maintained. This device means that perforated leather sewing is executed perfectly every time and reduces waste, common with this type of expensive material.
